Powered by the Berks County Latino Chamber of Commerce and I-LEAD, Inc., this regional initiative brings together Lancaster, Reading, and Allentown for soccer-inspired events, watch parties, vendors, music, food, and family engagement during the 2026 international soccer season.

The Road to the World’s Game

The Berks County Latino Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with I-LEAD, Inc., is proud to launch a regional initiative designed to celebrate soccer, culture, commerce, tourism, and community throughout Pennsylvania’s growing 222 Corridor.

Thanks to the leadership and vision of Rep. Johanny Cepeda-Freytiz, the BCLCC was awarded grant funding to help bring this regional effort to life. This initiative helps connect tourism, small business growth, cultural celebration, and economic development during a major year for international soccer.

Join us for the 222 Summer of Soccer Kickoff Watch Party on Thursday, June 11 at 12:00 PM at 645 Penn St. in downtown Reading. This community celebration will bring together soccer, culture, local businesses, and regional partners, leading into a big-screen viewing of the inaugural match between Mexico and South Africa at 3:00 PM ET. Guests are invited to enjoy an afternoon of community connection, live energy, and soccer excitement as we launch the 222 Summer of Soccer initiative.

International Soccer Watch Party & Festival in Lancaster

Celebrate the global energy of soccer at Lancaster’s International Soccer Watch Party & Festival on Friday, June 12 from 6:00–11:00 PM at Ewell Plaza and Binns Park in downtown Lancaster. This free, rain-or-shine community celebration will feature a big-screen watch party, international food and beverages, cultural performances, vendors, family-friendly activities, youth soccer experiences, and more. Guests can enjoy the excitement of the game while exploring the sounds, flavors, and community spirit of Lancaster City.

BCLCC 3-v-3 Challenge

Join the Berks County Latino Chamber of Commerce for the BCLCC 3-on-3 Soccer Challenge on Thursday, July 2, 2026, from 10:00 AM–3:00 PM at GoggleWorks Center for the Arts in Reading. This high-energy 222 Corridor Summer of Soccer kickoff event will feature fast-paced 3-on-3 matches, youth and adult divisions, live music, food vendors, family-friendly fun, soccer skills, culture, and community.

Hosted in partnership with Copa Nueva Era and GoggleWorks Center for the Arts, the challenge is designed to bring residents, families, businesses, and soccer fans together for an exciting day of competition and celebration. Registration and participation details are coming soon.

Allentown Soccer Watch Party

Join us in Allentown on June 12 for an exciting evening of soccer, community, and celebration as part of the 222 Summer of Soccer. The evening begins with the Jordan Park Mini Pitch Ribbon Cutting at 6:00 PM, followed by the Allentown Soccer Watch Party at 9:00 PM featuring USA vs. Paraguay live.

The 2026 regional soccer experience will include events and activations throughout Lancaster, Reading, and Allentown. Each city will bring its own local energy, culture, food, music, and community celebration to the 222 Corridor.

International Soccer Watch Party & Festival

Join thousands of fans, families, and visitors in the heart of Lancaster for an unforgettable International Soccer Watch Party & Festival celebrating the global excitement surrounding the 2026 international soccer season.

This event is expected to attract visitors from across the region and serve as a major kickoff celebration for the 222 Corridor Summer of Soccer Experience.

Vendors are strongly encouraged to apply as soon as possible because all vendors will need temporary licensing approval, Health Department approval, and event authorization prior to participation.

Soccer Fan Zone Experience

Reading will host major soccer-themed community activations and fan zone experiences designed to attract visitors from across the region.
The Reading events will help position Berks County as a major regional destination during the 2026 international soccer season.
