1st Annual 222 Corridor Latino Economic Summit

Join business leaders, entrepreneurs, elected officials, economic-development professionals, and community partners from Reading, Lancaster, Allentown, and across the region for the inaugural 222 Corridor Latino Economic Summit. This regional gathering will explore the growing economic influence of Pennsylvania’s Latino community through conversations on business growth, workforce development, access to capital, entrepreneurship, government contracting, infrastructure, and regional investment. Featuring keynote speaker Ben Wright, Head of The Hartford’s Global Insights Center, the Summit is designed to strengthen relationships, identify new opportunities, and build a more connected and prosperous future across the 222 Corridor.

Advanced Financial Management Class: Including an Overview of Business Taxes

Strengthen your financial knowledge with the BCLCC’s Advanced Financial Management Class, a six-week course designed to help business owners build greater confidence in managing their finances while gaining a practical understanding of business taxes. Sessions will be held Mondays from 6:00–8:00 PM, beginning September 28 and continuing through November 2, 2026, at 540 Upland Avenue in Reading. Participants can expect practical financial education focused on helping them make stronger decisions and build more sustainable businesses.

Latino Unidos Keynote Speaker: José Martínez

Join Latino Unidos for a special keynote featuring José Martínez, an Emmy Award-winning bilingual media professional, journalist, host, author, and founder of VOZ NYC. Drawing from his professional experiences across New York, San Francisco, and Pennsylvania, Martínez will headline an evening designed to bring the community together through his perspective and story. The event takes place Friday, September 25, 2026, from 5:00–8:30 PM at Alvernia University, Francis Hall Atrium and Theatre.

Join Connections Work for a Community Career Fair designed especially for individuals who are currently or have previously been involved with the justice system, probation or parole, treatment courts, ARD programs, or domestic relations. Meet employers and explore employment opportunities on September 21 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Reading.

2nd Annual El Boricuazo 2026

Celebrate Puerto Rican culture, music, food, and community at the 2nd Annual El Boricuazo, presented by Palo Magazine and GoggleWorks Center for the Arts. This free Hispanic Heritage Month celebration will feature live music, cultural performances, local vendors, children’s activities, a domino tournament, and more. Join the community on Saturday, September 19, from 1:00–7:00 PM at GoggleWorks in Reading for an afternoon celebrating Nuestra Cultura, Nuestra Gente, Nuestra Isla.

The Mix – World Cup Final Community Watch Party

Join The Mix for a free World Cup Final Community Watch Party on Sunday, July 19, 2026, in Lancaster. Guests are invited to enjoy food, fun, fellowship, and the excitement of the final match together.

Doors open at 1:00 PM, with kickoff at 3:00 PM. All are welcome to celebrate community, culture, connection, and the beautiful game.

BCLCC 3-on-3 Soccer Challenge + Watch Party at West Reading Park

Join the Berks County Latino Chamber of Commerce, I-LEAD, and community partners for the updated BCLCC 3-on-3 Soccer Challenge and 222 Corridor Summer of Soccer Watch Party on Friday, July 10 at West Reading Park. The 3-on-3 tournament will take place throughout the day, with the family-friendly watch party beginning at 12:00 PM and a live streamed quarterfinal match at 3:00 PM.

This community celebration will feature soccer, music, food vendors, family activities, pool access for attendees, and opportunities for residents, businesses, and visitors to come together in West Reading. Registration for the 3-on-3 Challenge has been extended through July 7, and additional event details will follow.

Come celebrate with Bring The Change, CICOP Ministry, Duverseau Productions, and V Productions at the 6th Annual Haitian Flag Day in Reading on Sunday, May 17th! This is a fun day for everyone to enjoy Haitian pride, great music, and local culture. We start at City Park (1044 Washington St) at 2:30 PM to raise the flag, then the party moves to Tec Centro Berks (450 S 6th St) at 4:00 PM for a big celebration.
